Pine and Teak Wood Crafts Success Becomes a Promising Business in the Hands of Ivan Yahya

Ivan Yahya Adhiteja is a young man who successfully runs pine and teak wood business with a turnover reaching tens of millions per month.

Before opening the pine and teak wood crafts business, Ivan did not have the intention to make it a business. Previously, Ivan had only intended to make goods that could be used by many people, and there were emerging ideas for making wood-based handicrafts. For example, pots, lights, trays, cellphone accessories, table lamps, tissue boxes, chairs, and tables

To introduce and market his creations, Ivan then actively participated in various craft product exhibition events such as Inacraft and the like. Sampau finally got his first order. From the order for office supplies and the house, Ivan earned around IDR 100 million. He turned the money as capital to buy a machine.

Starting from that, Ivan started to get lots of orders from various parties or even just made goods and sold them, but they sold well.

Seeing this potential, Ivan Yahya Adhiteja then ventured to open PT Izemu Innovative Design (Izemu.com) and get a good response from the market. Ivan develops handicraft entrepreneurship with a focus on the main raw materials, namely pine and teak purchased from Perhutani.

Izemu Innovative Design products are sold from IDR 50,000 – IDR 300,000, while for large items IDR 800,000 and above. Best selling according to Ivan is small items such as trays and wooden chairs because it is very much related to everyday life.

At present Izemu products can be spread in 7 stores in several malls, one of which is in Kemang Village. And the products are also sold through marketplaces such as Tokopedia, shopee, and can be ordered directly via @izemudesign social media.
